Motorhome and Skiing in Pal - Andorra

The Pal ski resort offers a large number of parking spaces for motorhomes and campervans about 200m from the gondola arrival point and the first ski lifts in the La Caubella area. The maximum stay is limited to 48 hours, but it is well worth spending a weekend in this area surrounded by nature and with spectacular views. The area is located at an altitude of 1,900m, so it is important to bring winter equipment [snow socks, chains, or winter tires are mandatory in Andorra between November 1st and May 15th]. It is also worth noting that roads in Andorra are cleared very quickly, and it is rare not to find a good moment during the morning to drive your motorhome down safely, even if it is snowing.
The La Caubella plateau also offers dining options (warning! ski resort prices...), ski pass purchase, ski equipment rental and sales, and lessons for all levels at the Pal Ski School.
Pal is an ideal ski resort for families, with slopes for all levels. It has excellent slopes for beginners in the Caubella and Pla de la Cot zones, and also, going up to Pic del Cubil or over to Setúria, red and black runs for the more expert skiers. From the La Caubella motorhome area, you can access all sectors of the resort and reach Arinsal thanks to the cable car connecting the two ski domains. The connection to Arinsal is located in the Coll de la Botella - Setúria area, which can be reached by skiing and taking a few lifts from where the motorhome is parked.
Pal is also an ideal resort for those wishing to start ski touring (SkiMo) or those wanting a quiet (but at times demanding) climb in marked and totally safe areas of the resort (not on the slopes, but on specific marked parallel circuits). Snowshoeing enthusiasts will also find good circuits for excursions with varying levels of difficulty depending on their choice.
