The cyrix battery combiner is a hardened, microprocessor-controlled relay that automatically connects batteries in parallel when one of them has reached a preset voltage (indicating that the battery is charging), and disconnects them when the voltage drops below the set point. float level (indicating that one or more batteries are discharging).

Cyrix battery combiners are an excellent replacement for diode bridges.

The main feature is that there is practically no voltage loss, so the output voltage of alternators or battery chargers does not need to be increased.

Intelligent battery control to avoid unwanted switching:

The Cyrix-ct 12/24 software does more than just connect and disconnect based on battery voltage.

The Cyrix-ct 12/24 checks the general trend (increase or decrease of the stress) and reverses a previous stock only if the trend has reversed for a given period of time. The time span depends on how far the voltage deviates from that trend.

Long bolts that allow the connection of more than one power cable:

Cyrix 12/24-230: 16mm (M8)

Protection against overheating (due to long-term overload for example):

The Cyrix will deactivate in the event of excessive contact temperature, and will reactivate once it has cooled down.

12/24V self-regulated:

The Cyrix-ct 12/24 automatically detects system voltage.

No voltage loss:

Cyrix battery combiners are an excellent replacement for diode bridges. The main feature is that there is practically no voltage loss, so that the output voltage of the alternators or battery chargers battery does not need to be increased.

Priority to the starting battery:

In a normal arrangement, the alternator is connected directly to the starting battery. The service battery, and perhaps also the bow thruster, and other batteries are each connected to the starting battery with Cyrix combiners.

When the Cyrix detects that the starter battery has reached the connection voltage, it will activate to allow the parallel charging of the other batteries.

Voltage sensor and bidirectional supply of both batteries:

The Cyrix detects the voltage of both connected batteries. Therefore, it will also be activated if, for example, the battery of service is being charged by a battery charger.

The Cyrix-ct 12/24 has dual power. Therefore, it will also be disconnected if the battery voltage is too low to run the Cyrix.

Parallel connection in case of emergency (StartAssist):

The Cyrix can also be activated by a push button (Cyrix stays on for 30s) or by a

Switch to connect batteries in parallel manually.

This is especially useful in an emergency when the starter battery is dead or damaged.
